Who we are

The newsletter
If you sign up for the newsletter we store your email address, your first name if you give it, and a record of your consent: the date and time you signed up, the page you signed up from, and your IP address. We keep the consent record so we can show that you asked to hear from us.
We use this only to send you the Woman…Arise! newsletter. We do not sell, rent or share your address with anyone else. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe by emailing us. Once you unsubscribe we remove you from the mailing list.
Our lawful basis for this is your consent.
The contact form
When you use the contact form we receive the name, email address and message you send, so that we can reply to you. We keep these messages for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry.
Comments
If you leave a comment on a post, the comment and the name and email address you give are stored, along with your IP address, to help detect spam.
Cookies and measurement
This site uses cookies to make it work properly. We also use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. This tells us about visits in general, not about you personally.
Your rights
You have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to withdraw your consent to the newsletter at any time. Email paulette@womanarise.co.uk and we will deal with your request.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
